With the Art Fair contemporary art invades Bologna. On January 28th, 2017 ART CITY White Night punctually arrives, like every year, on Saturday night: after the closing of the Fair fans can enjoy numerous appointments, to enjoy the longest art night of the year.
In this occasion the Association “Succede solo a Bologna” has devised a series of initiatives on the final day of the project IO SOSTENGO SAN PETRONIO. During the evening San Petronio’s Basilica will be open to the public from 8pm at 12pm . Within an artistic heritage of inestimable value, both for what it means in the history of Bologna, both for what it represents in the artistic career of Italy and Europe: Gothic architectural complex, Baroque architectural ensemble, the famous Sundial of Cassini, Versari’s collection, 15th-century organs, Museum of San Petronio, paintings by Parmigianino, sculptures of Jacopo della Quercia, the four crosses, polychrome stained glass and much more.
Moreover, the same night you will participate at two events: the photographic exhibition “Human capital” with the visit to the Bell Tower of San Petronio (entrance from Alley Columbina, 9) and a series of guided tours can be booked through the form at the bottom of the page.
ART CITY White Night, made by Bolognafiere in partnership with the municipality of Bologna – Department of culture and commercial and cultural operators. Everyone is invited, without exception, to live a unique art city white night.
